Saeed Ghaffari (born 1986) is an Iranian architect who graduated from the Islamic Azad University (IAU), Dubai Campus, in 2010. He founded his eponymous studio, SAGHAFF Architecture Studio, in 2011. His design contributions have been acknowledged through prestigious accolades, including recognition in the SRD 2010 International Sustainable House Design Competition and several other notable design contests. “Architecture is the art of shaping space for life to unfold; a vitality rooted not merely in the built form, but in its enduring dialogue with the environment and the collective memory of its occupants.” Today, SAGHAFF Architecture Studio brings together a collective of experienced and specialized architects and engineers from diverse backgrounds. Through continuous research, study, and a collaborative team dynamic, we are dedicated to transforming concepts into spaces that are inspiring, sustainable, and responsive. Guided by our vision of “Crafting Sublime and Sustainable Spaces for Enhanced Living,” the studio designs environments that not only fulfill functional requirements but also cultivate a profound and enduring sensory experience. We believe that exceptional architecture transcends mere construction; it must emerge from a deep consideration of the unique cultural, social, and environmental context inherent to each project. Since its inception, SAGHAFF Architecture Studio has collaborated with clients globally, executing a diverse portfolio of projects across the United Arab Emirates (notably Dubai), Iran, Tajikistan, Georgia, Oman, Northern Cyprus, Germany, Sweden, and Canada. This international exposure has broadened our design perspective and deepened our understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by diverse architectural contexts. We take pride in our collaborations with prominent clients on projects of significant scale. A notable example includes our engagement with FINI3 Investment Company to develop the master plan for a fully integrated smart city development in Tbilisi, Georgia, encompassing residential, hospitality, and tourism functions. This project features diverse zones designed with a core focus on sustainable architecture, drawing inspiration from pioneering models like Masdar City in the UAE. Furthermore, our design for a large-scale, mixed-use complex—spanning a total built-up area of 113,000 m2 on a 34,000 m2 site—integrates three residential/hospitality towers, a retail mall, a food court, a sports complex, and various other cultural and commercial facilities. This development strongly emphasizes sustainable architectural principles and aims to create an engaging and dynamic urban environment for the community, further showcasing our dedication to impactful and contextually relevant design. The core objective at SAGHAFF Architecture Studio is the relentless pursuit of sublime and sustainable architecture aimed at creating enduring legacies. Leveraging cutting-edge global knowledge and technological advancements, we continually explore innovative alternatives to conventional materials and construction methodologies. Saeed Ghaffari’s extensive professional background, particularly in the construction of international five-star hotels, informs our meticulous and holistic approach to project execution, from conceptual design through to final construction. Our significant emphasis on Research and Development (R&D) is rooted in our conviction that continuous study and innovation are fundamental across all architectural domains. Consequently, we have developed specialized expertise in the design and development of fully integrated smart homes that are modular and prefabricated.
