Renovation and Upgrade Project: West Wing of Parsian Azadi Khazar Hotel (formerly Hyatt) – Chalus
Executive Summary:
The Phase One renovation of the Parsian Azadi Khazar Hotel stands as a landmark project in Iran’s luxury hospitality sector. The primary goal was to restore the grandeur of this iconic coastal architecture and elevate its operational standards to five-star international levels. Our team assumed a critical dual role throughout the project:
Architectural Consulting and Redesign: In strategic partnership with STP Consulting Engineers, Dubai (UAE), we executed the complete architectural redesign of Phase One, covering the West Wing and primary public areas. This redesign focused on preserving the building’s historic identity while ensuring a contemporary, functional, and spatial update, utilizing world-class materials and cutting-edge technology.
Supreme Supervision Body (Nezarat-e Aliyyeh): Beyond the design scope, our team served as the Supreme Supervision Body, overseeing all execution phases. This management role was essential to guarantee the precise compliance of construction and quality assurance processes with the redesigned plans and predetermined international standards.
Scope of Work (Phase One):
Our activities during the first phase included the comprehensive reconstruction of key hotel sections:
West Wing: Complete renovation of 85 accommodation units (rooms and suites) in this wing, resulting in luxurious, modern spaces perfectly aligned with the new design concept.
Ground Floor and Public Spaces: Full renovation of the ground-floor public areas, including the main entrances and the Lobby.
Restaurants and Service Sections: Complete modernization of the restaurants and other ancillary service and support sections associated with the West Wing, aimed at significantly enhancing guest service quality and experience.
This project was instrumental not only in giving this historic hotel a renewed modern facade but also in reinforcing the Parsian Azadi Khazar Hotel’s position as a premier luxury destination on the Caspian Sea coast through substantial infrastructure and aesthetic upgrades.
